Built from lived experience

I built this for my family. And now, for yours.

HeyAggy exists because navigating aged care shouldn’t feel this confusing. Endless information, and still no clear sense of what to do next.

Dad passed away in late 2023. Only a few months later, Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. I wasn’t ready. I don’t think you can ever be ready for that.

In less than a year—while still grieving—I suddenly had to do all the things for Mum that I’d watched her struggle to navigate with Dad. Support in the home. ACAT assessments. Appointments. Paperwork. Palliative care pathways. I hadn’t figured anything out.

I was Googling at midnight, getting passed between phone lines, crying in the car. Trying to be strong for her while having no idea what to do next.

I couldn’t find everything I needed in one place. So I built it.

Because this isn’t just one family’s experience

As I started talking about it, I realised how many people were going through the same thing. Trying to understand their options. Make the right decisions under pressure. Keep track of important information. Stay on the same page as their family.

All while carrying the emotional weight of it.

There's no clear pathway. Just pieces of information scattered everywhere.

What HeyAggy is

HeyAggy is designed to bring clarity to that experience. It’s a simple, structured way to understand where you are, know what to do next, and keep everything organised.

So families can feel more confident navigating a system that often feels overwhelming.

Why AggyPlus exists

But as things progressed, I realised it wasn’t just about navigating the system — it was about holding everything that matters in one place.

With Mum’s health changing and memory becoming more difficult, even simple things like writing letters or keeping important information together started to feel fragile.

It made me think about how much families carry during these moments — not just decisions and logistics, but memories, wishes, and the things you don’t want to lose.

AggyPlus was created to support that. It’s a space where everything can live — so families feel more prepared, more connected, and a little less overwhelmed when it matters most.

“When things feel chaotic, Aggy is a place for clarity.”
